Notes:
Not sure how much I'll be able to gather. I had been told that, growing up, Mom had been more of a Zionist than Dad had been. However, she never really talked about. Going through photo albums once with her, we came across some photos of Kutti and Else Salinger. After finding a reference to a book Kutti wrote (in German), I had a brief email exchange with Mom.

As I told you I met Kutti and Else in Geneva, where they got stuck on their way from England to Israel (still Palestine). That's a lifetime ago, but I would love an address for them if you can find one? From instructions, left by Else (who had some kind of job) I concocted dinner for the three of us. Can't remember how long that lasted, my very first adventures in the kitchen.

It is almost 80 years since I was a member of Habonim!

Dear Janni, you can see, although we are here in the Negev [?] area, we have not yet forgotten you. Our journey has been very pleasant and interesting so far. Hopefully Can we tell you everything orally for once?
Kind regards
Kutti and Else
