Her naturalization certificate was issued on February 19, 1948, and is also available from the National Archives. She signed her oath of allegiance on February 23, 1948.
The text of the newspaper:
"NOTICE is hereby given, that MISS JANINA JEANNE JÖNAS of 12, Palatine Road, Withington, Manchester, is applying to the Home Secretary for NATURALISATION, and that any person who knows any reason why naturalisation should not be granted should send a written and signed statement of the facts to the Under Secretary of State, Home Office, London, S.W. 1."
